Best Budget Gaming PC Under 500$ in 2024
To build a
gaming PC under 500$ we need to check the pricing of the components because we
have to build such a gaming PC that would be upgrade-able in future. Building a
gaming PC is an educational experience and you need to research to find out a
best Gaming PC of specific needs and budget. We need to research on hardware so
that we can find out best performance PC.
According to
our budget of 500$, we have to choose components wisely and we have to find
best components in low budget. We are here to provide you best components
according to your budget. We also need to consider future upgrades in this
Gaming build because if we wan to upgrade our PC that should not be a hard
work.
Now I’m going to reveal best budget and future proof gaming components under the budget of 500$. The components we are using in this PC are:
CPU:
As we know that CPU & GPU both
are main components of any gaming PC. CPU performs a vital role in gaming and
editing purposes. So according to our budget we decide to select one of the
popular CPU Ryzen 5 3600 which comes with 6 cores and 12 threads which
is amazing in price of 130$. Base clock of this CPU is 3.6GHz. L1
Cache is 384KB, L2 Cache is 3MB & L3 Cache is 32MB.
TDP of this CPU is very amazing and that is 65W. This CPU allows you overclocking.
Max temperature of this CPU is 95C. This CPU supports DDR4 RAM.
GPU (Graphic Card):
GPU (Graphics Processing Unit) or Graphic
card is one of the most important and cost-effective components in gaming
builds. First of all, as we know that our budget is tight so we have to find
best performance GPU in low budget. So according to our budget 1660 Super meet
our exact requirements. It’s a budget friendly and most selling GPU made by
Nvidia. It is launched in Oct, 29, 2019. Right now, the price of this GPU is 169.99$.
It comes with 6GB of memory and memory type is GDDR6. Bus speed
of this GPU is 192 bits. TDP of this GPU is 125W. The variants of this
GPU are about 70 but I will tell you about the companies who are creating this GPU.
Acer, ASUS, ColorFire, Dell, ELSA, EVGA, Gainward, GALAX, GIGABYTE, HP, Inno3D,
KFA2, Leadtek, Manli, MAXSUN, Medion, MSI, Palit, PNY, ZOTAC.
Motherboard:
We have to choose our motherboard
according to our CPU. Our motherboard should be future proof and must be
capable to run our CPU on peak performance. So according to CPU I found B450M
S2H V2 motherboard. It meets our all requirement and is also budget friendly
motherboard. It can easily handle Ryzen 5 3600 and can also handle Ryzen 5
5600x. It supports 2 RAM slots of DDR4. 3600 MHz is max speed of RAM that can easily
handle by this motherboard. It can support MAX 16GB of Shared memory. It comes
with 1 PCI x 16 & 2 PCI x 1 slots. It supports M.2 SATA SSD. BIOS of this
motherboard is UEFI. The price of this motherboard is around 68$.
RAM:
We have to build a budget friendly
PC. So, we have to save money to build with in this budget. So that’s why we
are using 16GB of RAM. As we know that our CPU and motherboard support
DDR4 RAM. So, we go with DDR4 RAM of 3200MHz speed. We are using Corsair
RAM for this build because the built quality of this RAM is quite good and also
it is RGB supported RAM. The price of this RAM is about 45$. This RAM is
enough for gaming, rendering and editing purposes because the main load of
these processes is on CPU and GPU. So, we didn’t spend a lot on RAM.
CPU Cooler:
For CPU cooler we have to know how much
temperatures our CPU can afford. As we are using Ryzen 5 3600 MAX temperature
of this CPU is 95C. So, for this CPU AG400 CPU cooler is good enough to
maintain its temperature. It comes with 4 heat pipes and this will make this
CPU cool and MAX temperature will go to 75C and this is quite good for this
CPU. This CPU cooler is made by DeepCool. This is budget CPU Cooler with
extreme good performance. The Price of this CPU Cooler is 35$.
Storage:
For storage we will use two type of
storages SSD and HDD. Speed of SSD is far better than HDD and to not cross the
budget for external storage or to store data we use HDD. First of all, we use 256GB
of M.2 SSD for this PC. This will increase the boot speed of the PC. We
will use this storage to install window in it. We will use Kingston SSD because
the quality and performance of this SSD is quite enough in low budget gaming
PC. The price of this SSD is 40$. For second storage device we are going
to use HDD. We will use 1TB of HDD to store large amount of data.
We will use HDD of WD Blue. The quality of this HDD is enough and also
price is very budget friendly. The price of HDD is 45$.
Power Supply:
For PSU we will go with well one because
if we use low budget or low-quality PSU this can harm our other components. All
the current supply will go through PSU to all other components of PC. For PSU
after research, we get the result that our PC needs a power of 500W. That’s why
we are using 550W of power supply. We will go with Thermaltake
power supply because its quality is good enough and it is good to go with 10
years. The price of this power supply is 55$.
Gaming Case:
To choose a gaming case we should
know about the air flow. Air flow of gaming case should be good otherwise you
can face over heating issue in your PC. So, the air flow of PC case should be
good. It’s the last component so we have to build this PC under 500$. We are using Thunder ATX Size Mid Tower gaming case which comes with 4 ARGB fans and also mesh in front and tempered Glass on it's one side. So, this
case will not cross the budget and also it is good enough for our components
and PC. The price of this gaming Case is around 50$.
This is our
best budget gaming PC build under 500$. It may vary in different countries.
Moreover, this PC will give you about 100+ FPS in GTA V, 80+ FPS in Warzone 2.0,
70+ FPS in Forza Horizon V, 200+ FPS in Fortnite & 60 stable FPS in Tekken
8.
